The documentary “Single-sex school”, by Georgina Belles, has as its main objective to break the prejudices of the general public in relation to non-mixed schools, which are precisely at a difficult time in Catalonia. Making a brief review of the history of the school, the interviews with experts and the testimonies of former students, single-sex education is presented not only as an excellent pedagogical model; but also as an innovative method that can respond to the inequalities between the sexes and the problems in the educational field that have not been overcome with the mixed school.
